We love to meet our community up close and personal. We've gathered a list of events happening here in Boynton Beach, Florida, but also events and holidays for celebration within our Sister Cities.

Sister Cities International is proud to present the 2025 Young Artists and Authors Showcase, inviting youth from around the world to express their creativity through the theme “Friendship: The Heartbeat of Global Peace.”
Open to artists, writers, photographers, filmmakers, and musicians aged 12-18, the Showcase provides a unique platform to explore how global friendships can drive positive change and bridge cultural divides.
By participating in this inspiring competition, young creators will have the opportunity to share their vision of a peaceful world and contribute to the international dialogue about the importance of building friendships across nations.
We've partnered with the previous Mayor of Les Cayes here in Boynton Beach to help 13-18 year-olds attend school for free at Collège Saint-Jean des Cayes in Les Cayes, Haiti.
Tuition for 1 year for 1 student is $100. We have already raised $600 to send 6 students to school for the 2024 year.
Collège Saint-Jean des Cayes will also be participating in our YAAS (Young Artists & Authors Showcase) Art Contest.
Did you know, Lantana hosts the largest community of the Finnish outside of Finland in the world?
Suomi Talo Finland House is the home for the largest collection of Finnish crests outside of Finland, 420 crests representing Finnish cities, towns and communities.
The Finnish-American Village builds on the solid foundation of the Finnish-American Rest Home, Inc., and as a not-for-profit organization, is unified in the mission to provide the highest quality care, with European flair.
These two places include hard working volunteers to keep the Finnish community alive here in South Florida.
