YAAS: YOUNG ARTISTS AND AUTHORS SHOWCASE

Each year, the Young Artists and Authors Showcase encourages local students and students from our Sister Cities to express the mission of Sister Cities International through original artwork and literature. 

We've had an international art winner, a written piece place, and an art piece chosen to be the logo of the annual international convention! 

About this year's theme:

Sister Cities International is proud to present the 2025 Young Artists and Authors Showcase, inviting youth from around the world to express their creativity through the theme “Friendship: The Heartbeat of Global Peace.” 

This year’s theme highlights the power of friendship to foster understanding, collaboration, and peace across borders. 

Any student living in the Greater Boynton Beach, Florida area between the ages of 12 - 18 can enter. We will also take submissions from our International Sister Cities.

Art can include several mediums and each medium has a chance to win. Mediums include art, literature, poetry, photography, and music.

The 1st place winner of the local Boynton Beach Sister Cities Showcase will be entered into the full Sister Cities International competition which can result in cash prizes.

• Must live in or attend school in the Greater Boynton Beach area or be within our international Sister Cities limits (Qufu, China. Les Cayes, Haiti. Rauma, Finland. Farindola, Italy.)
• Each student must be between 12 and 18 years of age.
• All art must be submitted before Wednesday, March 12, 2025.
